I’ve been sewing since I could barely hold a needle, thanks to my mom and Grandma "Bama," who were basically the dynamic duo of seamstresses. I started with pillows and blankets for my dolls because, obviously, they needed a cozy place to nap! Each stitch I made was like a little love note (or maybe a tiny therapy session). My mom even taught me how draft patterns and fix sewing machines, which has obviously helped me (thanks again, Mom They would let me stay up all night to sew a new outfit for school the next day, and I made some funny things. My love for sewing turned into a wild ride when I discovered the Grateful Dead at 14. It led to selling my creations at festivals and traveling the country to meet all sorts of characters along the way! Somehow, I ended up in Guerneville, surrounded by a beautiful community of supportive and loving people. I like to think of my work as "saving the world, one stitch at a time."
